Day’s activity
Morning
- After an early breakfast, you will be picked up from your lodge near Lake Mutanda or Kisoro. Proceed to the park’s headquarters so that Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) rangers may brief you.
Mid-morning to Afternoon
- Start your escorted journey through the dense rainforest, following a family of habituated gorillas. The duration of the journey can range from one to five hours, contingent on the gorillas’ location. Once located, you will have a full hour to silently enjoy, study, and take pictures of these gentle yet strong animals in their natural environment.
Evening/After trek
- Return to your lodge or the designated drop-off location with a certificate attesting to your successful gorilla encounter and a heart full of wonder.
